2026 Mountaineer Brewfest -

Volunteer Registration Form

Volunteers are essential to the safe and enjoyable operations of the Mountaineer Brewfest Festival. As a volunteer you are an important member of the festival team and act as a representative of our organization to the festival attendees. For a better understanding of what you can expect as a volunteer and what is expected of you, we ask you to read and sign this Volunteer Agreement.

About this application:

Unless otherwise indicated, you are signing up for a minimum 6 hour shift. You must be 21 years of age and have a valid I.D. to volunteer at the Mountaineer Brewfest.

All volunteers receive bottled water, Festival Volunteer T-Shirt, and Free Parking at the Intermodal Garage next to Wesbanco Arena.

General and WV Craft Beer Pourer Volunteers working an 8-hour shift during Saturday festival hours additionally receive:

  • Food Voucher (valued up to $12)

  • A Half Hour break as directed by your Supervisor.

General and WV Craft Beer Pourer Volunteers working the minimum hours but less than 8-hour shifts additionally receive:

  • Festival Admission

  • WV Brewer Sample Tickets

Volunteers are to sign in at Gate 2 (on the walkway from Heritage Port to Wesbanco Restrooms) at least 30 minutes to one hour before your shift begins.

Terms & Conditions

As a Mountaineer Brewfest Festival Volunteer, I agree to:

  • Show up for my assigned shift at Gate 2 and sign in at least 30 minutes to one hour before your shift begins.

  • Report to my assigned area after signing in

  • Remain in my assigned role during your entire shift (with the exception of meal and bathroom breaks) unless otherwise advised by your supervisor.

  • Conduct myself in a respectful, ethical, and appropriate manner at all times while dealing with Mountaineer Brewfest festival staff, volunteers, brewers, vendors, and attendees.

  • Festival T-Shirts are only to be worn during your assigned shift.

  • Consumption of alcohol during your volunteer shift is strictly forbidden!

  • General Volunteers are not permitted to serve beer.

  • To the extent not covered by insurance, I agree to hold harmless Valley Groove Productions Inc. dba Mountaineer Brewfest and festival organizers from any and all claims, actions, or damage relating to or arising out of any intentional wrongful act that I may commit outside the scope of my assigned duties as a volunteer.

Please note upon submission of this form:

  • You will receive a copy of your Volunteer Application information

  • You will receive a PDF containing your Free Parking Pass at the Intermodal Garage next to Wesbanco Arena

  • You will receive an Alcohol Awareness guide (WV Craft Beer Pourers and Saints & Sinners Volunteers only)


A Mountaineer Brewfest Volunteer Supervisor will follow up with you closer to the event with shift assignments and further check-in details.
